NETWORK CABLING

Fiber is usually the most practical approach for today's business needs, and the only choice for high speed data network backbones.

Essentially, fiber cable is the use of a very small diameter pure grass core "wire" surrounded by many variable materials depending on the specific use intended. The glass core provides a path for light impulses. AS a result there is no interference from external sources such as magnetic or electronic fields near the cable, which can cause data corruption for copper wiring. Using fiber cables, data travels at the speed of light and must be converted from a digital signal to light impulses, sent through the cable via the use of a laser, LED of VCSEL device, and converted back to a digital signal.

Fiber networks require very sophisticated knowledge and expertise to design and install the correct components. Many various types of cable and hardware exist for use in many variable applications.

Is your voice and data network healthy?
Is your network certified? Does your network have an Authentication Certificate? Are you encountering problems with your network speed being reduced, even though you keep investing in faster hardware and hubs?

For every 1% of re-transmission errors on your network, up to 70% of network efficiency can be experienced. Most people do not realize how important correct cabling has become in today's business environment. By adding faster servers, switches and hubs to sub-standard networks, instead of increasing the speed you actually magnify the problem. Inexperienced "technologists" who do not fully understand these ramifications will cost you more money in hardware experimentation and actual network speed loss. The degradation of your network speed and efficiency can be exponential. Just like a freeway at rush hour, you'll get the data transferred, but it may take quite a while, regardless of the investment in costly hardware.

All of our cabling and wireless work is certified to correct standards, we authenticate each network and guarantee the performance standard, and provide the correct documentation to prove it.

Consider these issues carefully before you let a "friend of a friend's someone-in-law" learn on your dollar. Much of our work is spent correcting network installations and problems created by previous installers and in-house resources.
